I have a Certificate in Disability Studies, during which I did work placement at a preschool. I come from a large extended family, so I helped take care of the kids in the family. I also took care of my friends kids as well. In all cases, the children were aged from newborn to about 8 years. The tasks I performed include; feeding, changing diapers, bathing, getting dressed and ready for school. I also did school pickups/drop offs and fun activities such as; baking, dance freeze, colouring and puzzles. I am a mum to a 15 month old, this has given me a lot of experience.
